WHY ROUND STEAK?

Why This Cut Works for Slow Cooking

Round steak comes from the hindquarter, making it naturally lean yet full of beefy flavor. Because it’s a hardworking muscle, it benefits from low-and-slow cooking — which transforms it into fork-tender, juicy bites.

Slow cooking allows the connective tissue to gently break down, creating steak that’s rich, tender, and deeply satisfying without needing complicated ingredients.

Our round steak comes from 100% grass-fed and grass-finished cattle, raised responsibly and without shortcuts. The quality of the beef is what makes this simple recipe shine.

WHAT MAKES GRASS-FED DIFFERENT?

Grass-fed and grass-finished beef delivers a clean, robust flavor that stands out in simple preparations like this one. When the ingredient list is short, quality matters even more.

With grass-fed beef, you get:

  • Pure, beef-forward flavor

  • Tender texture when cooked properly

  • Beef you can feel confident serving your family

It’s comfort food — elevated by intention.
