Summerfield Farms is located in Summerfield, North Carolina, just outside Greensboro. Our location offers the peaceful setting and privacy of a farm while remaining convenient to Greensboro and the surrounding Triad area.
WHAT WEDDING VENUES ARE AVAILABLE AT SUMMERFIELD FARMS?
Summerfield Farms offers two distinct wedding venues: The Barn and The Pole Barn, along with multiple indoor, covered and outdoor ceremony locations throughout the property.
Our venues work beautifully for both intimate celebrations and larger weddings, with capacities of up to 300 guests.
WHAT IS INCLUDED WITH THE BARN?
The Barn experience includes access to The Barn, the attached Reception Tent and the Rooftop Terrace, giving couples three distinct spaces to use throughout their celebration.
The Barn is temperature controlled and accommodates up to 300 guests. The Rooftop Terrace is a popular setting for cocktail hour, while the attached Reception Tent provides an elegant extension of the Barn.
Together, the spaces combine rustic character, modern details and classic elegance, allowing couples to create different experiences throughout their wedding day.
WHAT IS THE POLE BARN?
The Pole Barn is a beautiful open-air, fully covered wedding venue surrounded by the natural landscape of Summerfield Farms. Nestled away on the property and overlooking a large pond, it offers a private setting that feels entirely its own.
The Pole Barn accommodates up to 175 guests and features hanging heaters and fans for added seasonal comfort. It also provides access to three beautiful outdoor ceremony locations.
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE BARN AND THE POLE BARN?
The Barn offers a temperature-controlled wedding experience with access to The Barn, Reception Tent and Rooftop Terrace. With capacity for up to 300 guests, it blends rustic character with modern and elegant spaces.
The Pole Barn offers a more open-air experience surrounded by the farm’s natural landscape. It is fully covered, accommodates up to 175 guests and provides access to outdoor ceremony settings overlooking the pond.
Both venues work beautifully for intimate and larger celebrations, and the best fit depends on the atmosphere and experience you envision rather than guest count alone.
HOW MANY WEDDING GUESTS CAN SUMMERFIELD FARMS ACCOMMODATE?
The Barn accommodates weddings of up to 300 guests, while The Pole Barn accommodates up to 175 guests.
Both venues also work well for intimate celebrations. Guest count is only one consideration when choosing a venue, and our events team can help determine which space best fits your vision.
WHAT CEREMONY LOCATIONS ARE AVAILABLE AT SUMMERFIELD FARMS?
Summerfield Farms offers multiple indoor, covered and outdoor ceremony locations, including The Little Tree, The Grove, The Meadow, The Branch, The Pole Barn and The Barn.
Available ceremony locations vary based on the wedding venue selected, giving couples options based on their guest count, season and overall vision.
WHAT HAPPENS IF IT RAINS ON OUR WEDDING DAY?
Summerfield Farms offers rain-plan options so couples can prepare for changing weather while maintaining flexibility leading up to the wedding.
A final rain-plan decision can be made by 9:00 AM on the wedding day.
DOES SUMMERFIELD FARMS HAVE ON-SITE ACCOMMODATIONS?
Yes. Summerfield Farms offers three on-site accommodations with sleeping space for up to 16 guests total.
The Bungalow sleeps six and features three bedrooms, two bathrooms and two floors.
The Cabin sleeps six and features two bedrooms, one bathroom, a pullout sofa and trundle.
The Cottage sleeps four and features one bedroom, one bathroom and a pullout sofa.
Additional accommodations are available nearby through local vacation rentals, and Summerfield Farms partners with area hotels offering preferred rates.
CAN WE HOST A WEDDING WEEKEND AT SUMMERFIELD FARMS?
Yes. On-site accommodations and multiple event spaces allow couples to create a wedding experience that extends beyond the ceremony and reception.
Depending on the wedding package selected, couples can incorporate overnight accommodations and additional wedding-weekend gatherings into their celebration.
DOES SUMMERFIELD FARMS OFFER MICRO WEDDINGS AND SMALL WEDDINGS?
Yes. Summerfield Farms hosts both intimate and large weddings. Couples planning a micro wedding or smaller celebration can still enjoy the setting and experience of The Barn or The Pole Barn.
Options vary based on the venue, date and type of celebration.
DOES SUMMERFIELD FARMS OFFER WEEKDAY WEDDINGS?
Yes. Monday through Thursday weddings are available at both The Barn and The Pole Barn and can be a great option for couples looking for additional date flexibility or wanting to maximize their wedding budget.
Weekday venue rates begin at $6,900 for The Barn and $5,200 for The Pole Barn.
DOES SUMMERFIELD FARMS OFFER WINTER WEDDINGS?
Yes. Summerfield Farms offers winter wedding options for couples considering a celebration outside of peak wedding season.
Winter weddings can offer additional date availability and value while still providing the full Summerfield Farms experience. Seasonal packages and availability vary by date and venue.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO RENT A WEDDING VENUE AT SUMMERFIELD FARMS?
Wedding venue pricing varies based on the venue, season and day of the week.
The Barn: Weekday venue rates begin at $6,900, with weekend venue rates generally ranging from $8,200–$11,300 depending on the season and day selected.
The Pole Barn: Weekday venue rates begin at $5,200, with weekend venue rates generally ranging from $5,500–$7,200 depending on the season and day selected.

WHAT TOTAL BUDGET SHOULD I PLAN FOR A WEDDING AT SUMMERFIELD FARMS?
Every wedding is different, and total investment depends heavily on guest count, wedding date, catering and bar selections, florals, entertainment, photography and other vendor choices.
For an off-peak wedding, we generally recommend beginning with an overall wedding budget of approximately $20,000+ for The Barn and $10,000+ for The Pole Barn.
These figures are general planning guidelines rather than package prices or required minimums. Peak-season dates, larger guest counts and more customized celebrations will typically require a higher overall investment.
IS CATERING AVAILABLE AT THE BARN AND THE POLE BARN?
Yes. Catering is available at both Summerfield Farms wedding venues, with different options depending on the venue selected.
The Barn features exclusive in-house catering through 1618 On Location, with food prepared from their commercial kitchen located on-site at Summerfield Farms.
The Pole Barn provides additional catering flexibility. Couples may select from our curated group of catering partners, including 1618 On Location, Above & Beyond Catering, Exclamations Catering, GIA, Odeh’s Mediterranean Kitchen, Pepper Moon Catering, Southern Roots and Taaza Bistro. 1618 On Location is available at The Pole Barn but is not required.
DOES SUMMERFIELD FARMS HANDLE WEDDING SETUP AND DECORATING?
Summerfield Farms handles the setup of all items provided directly through Summerfield Farms, including tables and chairs, ceremony setup, venue signage, parking signage and in-house décor selected from our collection.
Couples are welcome to bring their own décor and personal items; however, setup and breakdown of personal décor is the responsibility of the couple’s coordinator, planner or another designated person.
WHAT WEDDING DECOR DOES SUMMERFIELD FARMS OFFER?
Summerfield Farms offers an extensive in-house décor collection to help couples customize their ceremony, cocktail hour and reception.
Our collection includes lounge furniture, arbors, wine barrels, easels, tabletop décor, specialty bars, boxwood walls, shelving, farmhouse tables, sweetheart tables, decorative bistro tables, linens and more.
Use of our in-house décor collection is included with the Full-Day Exclusive Package and our multi-day wedding packages, and the Summerfield Farms team handles setup of all décor selected from our collection.
CAN WE BRING OUR OWN WEDDING DECOR?
Yes. Couples are welcome to bring their own décor and personal details and may incorporate those items alongside pieces from the Summerfield Farms décor collection.
Personal décor must be set up and removed by the couple’s coordinator, planner or another designated person. The Summerfield Farms team handles setup and breakdown only for items provided through Summerfield Farms.
CAN WE TOUR SUMMERFIELD FARMS BEFORE BOOKING?
Yes. Private venue tours are available for couples interested in celebrating at Summerfield Farms. During your tour, our events team can introduce you to the venues and ceremony locations and help determine which experience best fits your celebration.
