EVENT FAQ

When can I tour the venue? 

You can make an appointment to tour the facility Monday-Friday 9:00 a.m.- 6:30 p.m. Evening hours and weekend hours are available on an as available basis (If there are not any events taking place during the time you are looking to visit). Email us at events@summerfieldfarms.com to make an appointment.

Can I bring my own food?

Summerfield Farms partners exclusively with four local catering teams: 1618 On Location, Southern Roots, Above & Beyond, and Painted Plate. Visit our Events Partners guide for more info.

Can I provide my own alcohol?

We allow beer, wine and liquor at our facilities, however, alcohol must be purchased and served by one of our four catering partners. They will work with you on the details to ensure your event is just as you have envisioned!

How far in advance do I need to book the venue? 

We would love to schedule a time to meet you and show you our facilities. The sooner you book the better! To secure your date, we require a 50% deposit and signed contract. We cannot wait to meet you and help you create your perfect day!

Can I use Summerfield Farms for my engagement photos?

Absolutely! Included in your venue rental, is a 3 hour timeframe that you can use for engagement photos or bridal portraits. This time will be scheduled with your Venue Representative.

Are there any decorating restrictions? 

Decorating is permitted on the day of your event starting no earlier than 9am. Any wall or ceiling décor need to be approved by a Venue Representative.

Is there a dressing area for the bridal party and groomsmen?

Can we use other vendors?

Absolutely! We have exclusive partnerships with four catering teams as mentioned above. Other than catering, we welcome any and all vendors who complete our Vendor Agreement packet.

How many people can the farm accommodate?

We can accommodate intimate events as well as large gatherings of up to 1,500 guests.

What is included with the venue rental?

Included with your venue rental:  tables and chairs for 150 guests, tables for gifts, registry, food and beverages, and the bar(s), and the existing lighting.  We also provide garbage disposal and recycling.

When can we have access to the venue on the day of our event?

 Venue access begins at 9:00am on the day of your event.

What time do we need to be out of the event space?

Everyone and all personal items must be cleared out of the event space no later than 1 hour after the end time of the event, no later than midnight. All personal belongings must be cleared out of the guest quarters no later than 11pm on the day of your event.

Will there be enough parking for our guests?

Yes, we have ample space for parking! If larger than 600 guests, we will help arrange transportation.

Where is the farm located? 

The farm is located at 3203 Pleasant Ridge Road in Summerfield, NC.

Is this an actual working farm?

Yes! We raise 100% grass-fed beef and grow organic produce.

Is The Barn heated and Air-conditioned?

Yes

Who will set up the event space? 

Our staff will set up all items provided by The Barn or subsequently rented from the Summerfield Farms Rental Company.  Set up of rental items from outside vendors or client-provided equipment is the responsibility of the client.
